Price

$1,732.00

Manufactured in ISO 13485 certified facilities, Poly(L-lactide) Acid (PLLA) is a biodegradable biomaterial designed for medical devices and pharmaceutical applications. Ideal for 3D printing implants, scaffolds, and medical devices, PLLA offers mechanical properties that closely resemble those of native bone, with a resorption rate of approximately 3 years, making it an excellent choice for creating reliable and effective medical solutions for bone repair.

Features

  • Excellent bone-like mechanical properties

  • Bioresorbabe

  • Biocompatible & Non-toxic (USP 88 Class VI)

  • Sterilizable by gamma radiation, e-beam and ethylene oxide

  • Ready to use – stored in vacuum sealed aluminum bag with desiccants

  • Compatible with standard FFF machines

Suggested Applications

Cranioplasty, oral maxillofacial implants, parietal bone, spinal interbody fusion cage, radius, ulna, carpal bones, metacarpal bones and phalanges, and many more.

Please note: A new spool of Ossfila Medical Grade Filament is packaged in a vacuum sealed package with desiccant and drying should not be required. If the spool is exposed in air over a period of time, estimated at 2 days, moisture absorption is possible and may affect printing quality. A typical indication of too much moisture is stringing. It is recommended to dry the spool in a 50°C oven for 24 hours before printing.
